What is it? DeviantArt wants to give artists the ability to continue doing what they love; being creative! That’s why we created the DeviantArt Collective, a program that sponsors exciting and uplifting artists. We’ll be working closely with these artists to engage and inspire the art community on DeviantArt through contests, challenges, and more. We hope that you find inspiration — as we did — from this unique group and join in as we delve deeper into the art community and what makes it so special. We’ll be featuring interviews with the artists on DeviantArt, as well as sharing some of the Collective’s newest works and community initiatives. If you feel you'd be a good fit, we're opening this opportunity up for more and more deviants; hope to see you there! Who's in it? We're so excited to announce the current and past members of the DeviantArt Collective. These deviants have shown real joy in enriching the art community, and we can't wait to see what they do next on

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Artists
So I ran across this video and I think it's pretty awesome in a lot of what he is saying. This artist puts himself int o the challenge of making art that gets him followers is a certain amount of time, if he doesn't make the deadline he lands up having to pay his cousin like $1,000. Because of theses constraints it forces him to rethink the way he draws and his practices. Check it out it's highly worth the look!

FUR Brush Set. 20 PS-brushes for realistic FUR by EldarZakirov, journal
FUR Brush Set. 20 PS-brushes for realistic FUR
20 excellent brushes for Photoshop, which I use to create the perfect fur when I'm painting fluffy animals, furries etc.
"I've worked to learn how to draw realistic fur quite a lot of time.
And I can be proud that I'm reached this goal. To simplify matters I created a series of brushes for myself, and I've decided to share them with you.
My brushes allow to create high quality realistic fur image, that's why I made them not free. But I'm sure, you'll appreciate the assistance that they will bring you in the work!"
Sincerely yours, Eldar
